River red gums (Eucalyptus camaldulensis Dehn) can be found throughout Australia in all mainland states and are common along watercourses and in parks and gardens.

Barmah-Millewa Forest - A Perspective

The Barmah-Millewa forest in the central Murray Valley is the largest river red gum forest in the world. On November 6, 2007, I spend a day in this forest with local woodcutters and cattlemen learning about the forest from their perspective - from the perspective of the local white fellas, the guardians of traditional European knowledge in the forest.
