Perth catchment rainfall is defined as the sum of the annual rainfall at Dwellingup, Karnet and Mundaring.
The period 1965-2007 is chosen because there is complete data available for the 3 catchment areas throughout this
 period.
Records for Mundaring began in 1900; Dwellingup in 1934 and Karnet in 1964.

Graph by Nichole Hoskin, derived from Perth Water Corporation Annual Reports ‘Metropolitan Sources of Supply’ table, which listed the storage levels at June 30 of each year. Thus, the data is limited to one reading per year, rather than monthly or annual totals.
