The head of a Blue whale, Balaenoptera musculus, just below the surface. Part of a group of three photographed off Spitsbergen in the Norwegian arctic three weeks ago by George McCallum.

Hi George,
Good to see the blue whale pics... thought they already had migrated to some unknown place.

If you are lucky you can sometimes see blue whales in Husavik, Iceland. Think there are about 700-1000 blue whales in northern Iceland.
